Bean's Perspective- Hello, we have been sitting at this here Panera for about two hours now. Kinda tired, but no place to call home. Melissa is in the process of moving, therefore no home. I think we are both coming down from finals, and everyday life. Along with that, we get to get to know each other again. It has been great to see Gerald laugh again, school kinda takes it out of him. We will be posting pictures from the trip, currently there are exciting pictures many including Geralds face (he sneaks in...). There is a whole new beauty to the snow here in Chicago. I have never really seen snow outside of Michigan. It has been great to take every minute as it is given to us. Here's GE to tell you a little about his expirences.
G's perspective-We left a little later in the day than I planned, and I kept dosing off while driving to Michigan city. Nothing diasterous happened though, I hit a lady, but she was old so it was probably her time anyways. The train wasn't there so we had to wait an extra hour or so. When we got on the train I got to sound like a geek and explain what the Matrix was all about to Bekah, nonetheless it is still a great movie. We got to Chicago pretty late, but decided to walk to Mel's (about 1 to 2 miles through downtown windy city). It was nice to just walk and talk with Bekah, about meaningless stuff, really cool to me. Today we went exploring, we saw these two big shaggy dogs in the park, and they were running free, then this guy with a tiny dog on a leash, and one of the big dogs comes running up wanting to play and just pummels the little one. I think the guy was a little fruity, if you know what I mean. Then there was sign that said "curb your dog", it was pretty awesome. Bekah likes to take pictures, and I like to take video, but the thing is whenever I get the video camera out, she wants to be right there in the front of it, such a stage presence. So I decided to test my stage presence when she was taking pictures today, she took a picture of a drinking fountain, then i tried to drink out of it. She took a picture of some red berries, then i tried to eat them. Then she took a picture of an alleyway, so then i tried to eat it, no I just stood in it. Its snowing now, and this is getting long, so i better go, see you in CALI!
